Overwatch Season 5 Team Drives
Between Oct. 29 and Nov. 3 before the usual Tuesday update, Overwatch players can participate in the Season 5 Team Drives event. This is a competitive event where players must gain Fame to increase their Gladiator Rank. The more Fame and higher Gladiator Rank, the better the rewards.
- Gladiator Rank 1 (0-149 Fame): 500 Competitive Points
- Gladiator Rank 2 (150-299 Fame): Level 1 card frame
- Gladiator Rank 3 (300-449 Fame): 1,000 Competitive Points
- Gladiator Rank 4 (450-599 Fame): Level 2 card frame
- Gladiator Rank 5 (600-799 Fame): 1,500 Competitive Points
- Gladiator Rank 6 (800-999 Fame): Level 3 card frame
- Gladiator Rank 7 (3/4 wins): Level 4 player frame and #1 Gladiator player title
In addition to Competitive Points and player card frames, the first 10,000 teams to finish the event get a title that includes their finishing placement.
Overwatch Team Drives Fame explained
Winning matches grants a player Fame while losing matches may decrease it depending on the player’s Gladiator Rank. Wins results in 100 Fame if they’re the first victory in a streak. Then, if a player keeps at least one teammate in their next match and wins it, then they’ll get +50% more Fame.
“In addition, each player you stay grouped with beyond the first grants an additional bonus total up to +100% if everyone stays in the group,” according to Blizzard Entertainment. “These bonuses stack, and win streaks can be worth up to 300 Fame.”

How to find a group for Overwatch Team Drives
If a player doesn’t already have a group for the Overwatch Season 5 Team Drives event, then they can still duke it out in matches. That’s because the winning team gets automatically grouped together once a match ends.
It should also be noted that players must complete their ranked placements before they can access the Overwatch Team Drives event.
