Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse begins in the fiery streets and sewers of Paris, which is under attack by all manner of undead creatures. Rose Belmont arrives on the scene with Trevor, her famous father and the star of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse (not to mention the Netflix show), but she can’t rely on her dad’s help to navigate the damned alleyways of this city, where many soul-gathering monsters roam.
This starting region is expansive, but it’s also an excellent place to get your bearings and learn Rose’s moves, as well as her Arcanas. In this first section of our walkthrough for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, we’ll guide you through the sewers, explain how to beat the Fallen and obtain the Arcane Whip, and then detail how to climb the Prison Tower and defeat one of France’s greatest warriors. We’ll also highlight all major items and discoveries to ensure that you’re well on your way to seeing 100% of everything Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse has to offer.
