The Holy Innocents’ Cemetery is the second area of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and it’s a relatively quiet place of haunting beauty, especially compared to the chaos and fire-filled streets of Paris that we navigated in Part 1 of our walkthrough. But don’t assume that this is a peaceful sleeping ground for the deceased. There are countless traps and monsters hiding behind these tombstones, and Rose has her work cut out for her if she wants to find the last key that she needs to open the Catacombs.
In this second part of our walkthrough for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, we’ll help you navigate the graves and mausoleums that make up the Holy Innocents’ Cemetery. Along the way, Rose will obtain two new weapon types that let her kill foes from a distance and absorb massive blows, and she’ll also venture down into ancient Roman ruins to fight the snake-headed Medusa, a Castlevania boss who’s been petrifying players since the ’80s.
