Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 kicks off this year’s gamescom on Aug. 25, with Geoff Keighley once again hosting the two-hour showcase from Cologne, Germany. The show happens one day before the convention floor opens on Aug. 26.
Eight games were confirmed for Opening Night Live before the show, including Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Gears of War: E-Day, Metro 2039, Ananta, and Tides of Annihilation. Game of Thrones: War for Westeros and Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons are also getting new looks, alongside a plethora of newly announced titles.
