LOUD beat Team Vitality 3-1 in the VALORANT Champions 2026 final, which Esports Charts reports reached 1.49 million Peak Viewers.
The win made LOUD the first team in VALORANT esports history to claim two Champions titles. The Brazilian side’s run to the trophy included a Champions final rematch against Team Vitality.
Final audience and tournament figures
The best-of-five final finished in four maps. The 1.49 million peak was around 1.21% higher than the figure recorded for VALORANT Champions 2025, suggesting the flagship event’s top concurrent audience remained broadly steady year on year.
LOUD collected $1 million in prize money, while in-game leader Roberto “erde” Lobos was named tournament MVP. The four-map series gave the Brazilian organisation a second world championship trophy.
- Final peak: 1.49 million Peak Viewers.
- Next-highest match: Paper Rex versus LOUD in the Playoffs Upper Bracket Quarterfinals, with nearly 886,000 Peak Viewers.
- No other match at Champions 2026 reached one million Peak Viewers.
- Portuguese-language peak audience rose 89.2% year on year.
- The number of unique channels broadcasting the last two Champions events increased by around 50.
A steady benchmark ahead of the VCT shift
The audience data places the final in a period of relative stability for VALORANT’s world championship, whose first edition took place in 2021. Champions is the game’s premier annual tournament, and the 2026 final’s peak remains below the all-time high: VCT 2024: Masters Madrid is the only VALORANT event to have passed 1.6 million concurrent viewers, according to Esports Charts.
Esports Charts also ranked Champions Shanghai third among the most popular VALORANT events by peak audience. The result offers a current reach benchmark for Riot Games, participating teams and commercial partners assessing the tournament’s audience.
The final also closed the existing VCT format. In 2027, VALORANT esports is set to move to a more open ecosystem with more tournaments, while partner teams remain in the circuit. Champions’ audience will provide a comparison point as that structure takes shape.
