Gen.G GC are the VCT Game Changers Pacific champions after beating FENNEL GC 3-2 in a tense five-map Grand Final on Sept. 20 in Bali.
The win completed a long lower-bracket run for Gen.G, who FENNEL had earlier sent down in the upper semifinals. They handed Gen.G a 2-1 loss in the upper bracket, forcing the Korean side onto the lower-bracket path. FENNEL entered the Grand Final after a strong upper-bracket run. Gen.G began their playoffs with a clean 2-0 victory over Rising Esports GC.
