A new trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live gave us a new look at the Blue Bomber in action, including the reveal of a new foe and a familiar ally.
The video shows Mega Man doing what he does best: blasting apart Dr. Wily’s machines, though he has a new antagonist in the form of Twinkle Girl. She’s evidently the game’s first Robot Master, and actually looks rather pleasant and whimsical despite trying to kill Mega Man. We also see Mega Man sporting a new suit that may either represent the power he receives from defeating Twinkle Girl, or a separate transformation in the vein of the armor set from Mega Man X. The trailer ends with the reveal of updated key art featuring Mega Man’s longtime frenemy Proto Man.
Mega Man: Dual Override is coming in 2027 to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
