Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on Nintendo Switch 2 has just dropped to a new low price of $34.99 at Amazon, while the PlayStation 5 version has fallen even further, hitting just $19.99, also a record low.
If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to revisit Rebirth, particularly ahead of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, this is a pretty compelling one. Both versions are significantly cheaper than usual, but the Switch 2 edition comes with an especially nice bonus.
The Switch 2 version includes an exclusive Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy promo card featuring Zack Fair, making the $34.99 price even more tempting if you’re a fan of both games.
The card features alternate art of Zack by Tetsuya Nomura, the original game’s lead character designer and creative director of the remake trilogy. According to the store page, it has the same abilities as the standard Zack Fair card from the MTG Final Fantasy set. You can get a closer look at the exclusive artwork below.
There is one thing Switch 2 owners should know before buying, though. This physical copy of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a Game-Key Card, meaning you’ll need to download the game before you can play it.
And Rebirth isn’t the only FF7 game getting a worthwhile discount right now. The Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has also dropped to $29.99 at Amazon.
According to CamelCamelCamel, that’s just shy of its lowest-ever Amazon price of $29.83, making this another solid opportunity to pick it up.
Intergrade includes the complete events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, along with Yuffie’s side story in FF7R Episode INTERmission, which leads directly into the events of Rebirth.
So, if you’re a Switch 2 owner looking to catch up before the third and final game, you can currently grab both installments for around $65. That’s a pretty good price for two enormous RPGs, plus you’ll get that exclusive MTG promo card with Rebirth.
These prices may not stick around for long, so if you’ve been waiting to dive back into the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy, I’d take advantage while you can, as we may not see prices this low again for a while. Even the PlayStation 5 deal recently went out of stock before coming back again, so I’d suggest snapping the game for either console ASAP to avoid disappointment.
