If there is any Bond movie that 007 First Light seems to take the most influence from, it’s Casino Royale. Daniel Craig’s first outing as the iconic spy has its grubby fingerprints all over IO’s take on the franchise, whether it’s via the in-game wardrobe or the focus on an early-career Bond still workshopping his signature catchphrases and particular drink orders.
One of its biggest winks to Casino Royale though is its Card collectibles, with Bond finding unique playing cards scattered throughout the various exotic locales he visits. As a firm believer that Casino Royale is the best Bond film of the lot, I’ve gone ahead and found every single one of these cards in hopes James can form some sort of summoning circle and resurrect the ancient spirit of Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre.
