Microsoft Confirms Some Big Hitters for Xbox Game Pass April 2026 Wave 1 Lineup

April 2026 is shaping up to be a big month for Xbox Game Pass, with a number of high-profile games hitting Microsoft’s subscription service.

As detailed on Xbox Wire, the PC version of DayZ kicks things off on April 8, joining Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, PC Game Pass. On the same day, Endless Legend 2 (Game Preview) (PC) joins Game Pass Premium (it’s already in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass). Also on April 8, Remedy’s FBC: Firebreak (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) joins Game Pass Premium (again, this one is already in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass).

A day later, on April 9, Frontier’s Planet Coaster 2 (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) joins Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. Then, on April 10, Tiny Bookshop (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) hits Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass.

April 13 sees Football Manager 26 (PC) and Football Manager 26 Console (Cloud, Console, and PC) join Game Pass Premium (both were already on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass).

April 14 is a big day, with Hades II (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) joining Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. The first day one launch of April is Replaced (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC), which hits Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 14. Also on April 14, The Thaumaturge (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) joins Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.

Moving on to April 16, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) joins Game Pass Premium, having already been on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Also on April 16, EA Sports NHL 26 (Cloud and Xbox Series X|S) hits Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Here’s a big one: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Cloud, Console, and PC) hits Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass on April 17. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the Infinity Ward soft reboot that came out in 2019 and kickstarted the Call of Duty resurgence that also involved the battle royale, Warzone.

Moving into the second half of April, April 21 sees Little Rocket Lab (Cloud, Console, and PC) and Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato (Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC) join Game Pass Premium, with both already on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

We then have another day one release: Vampire Crawlers (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC), which hits Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 21. Speaking of day one releases, Double Fine’s Kiln (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) hits Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 23.

And finally, Game Pass Essential subscribers get two more games coming to the library on April 8: Warhammer Vermintide 2 (Cloud and Console), and DayZ (PC).
