Want to try it before you buy it? A lot of people do, apparently. Capcom has released the Pragmata Sketchbook Demo, which gives you a taste of the puzzle-meets-action combat as you explore a lunar research station. If you want a quick look at it without downloading, check out our Pragmata demo playthrough.

What Is Pragmata?

Pragmata is set in the near future, after humans have begun producing Lunafiliment, “a material capable of replicating anything.” When all communication ceases with the lunar research station dedicated to studying Lunafiliment, a team is sent to the moon to investigate. Shortly after arriving, you get injured and separated from the rest of the team. You’re discovered by Diana, an android created using Lunafiliment.

The main hook of the game is the way it mixes puzzle solving with combat. Diana has the ability to hack the armor of the security bots, which can help expose enemy weak points. Hugh is a firearms expert, who can shoot those weak points. As the player, you have to use both characters’ strengths to take down enemies. Along the way, you’ll also have to figure out what happened on the station and find a way to get back to Earth.

Check out our Pragmata hands-on preview for more information. Or just download the demo and try it out for yourself.
