Minecraft Live March 2026: Everything Announced

Minecraft Live March 2026 is over, but we made sure to break down Minecraft Dungeons 2, Minecraft World, and everything else announced for those who missed the show.

Mojang Studios wrapped up today’s bi-annual showcase after digging into just a few of the updates and launches it has planned for 2026. Highlights include deep dives into the Tiny Takeover and Chaos Cubed game drops coming to the base game later this year, as well as first looks at real-life experiences, such as the Minecraft World theme park.

With Minecraft Dungeons 2 also announced and heading steadily toward a fall 2027 release date, the show had a little something for every kind of fan. You can check out everything announced at the Minecraft Live March 2026 presentation below.

Minecraft Gets Parties and Other New Multiplayer Experiences

Minecraft has pulled in single-player fans for years, but Mojang has something new for multiplayer groups: parties. The goal of the new feature is to allow players to easily play with friends across Minecraft, with new experiences available today and in the near future. Expect parties to come to Bedrock this summer.

Mojang Goes Big With Tiny Takeover Update Deep Dive and a March Release Date

Tiny Takeover was one of the least surprising topics set for Minecraft Live, but it’s still exciting, nonetheless. This baby mod update, now with a release date of March 24, gives every critter and creature a facelift with new looks, cuter sounds, and more. Today’s presentation offered a closer look at how it will change the way players see mobs while also serving as a reminder that other new features, such as the ability to craft namtags, will be available, too.

“Tiny Takeover is one of the biggest cosmetic updates we’ve done,” gameplay tech lead Felix Jones said during the show, “and we have over a hundred for these baby mobs.”

Moonlight Trail to Illuminate Buenos Aires With Interactive Minecraft Experience in May

This May, fans can head to Buenos Aires, Argentina to explore a real-world Minecraft experience called Moonlight Trail. Described as a nighttime, outdoor event, attendees will be able to travel through biomes, craft gear, fight mobs, and more. Expect to see it come to more cities in the future.

Minecraft World Brings Theme Park to the London in 2027

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to finally build an all-encompassing theme park called Minecraft Worlds. Featuring everything Creepers and TNT blocks to a Villager merch shop and rollercoaster, concept art for the location teases plenty of Minecraft-themed experiences to enjoy when it opens its doors at Chessington World of Adventures in London in 2027.

Chaos Cubed Adds Sulfur With Second Game Drop Later This Year

Tiny Takeover is out next week, but Mojang is already looking to the blocky horizon with its next base game drop: Chaos Cubed. The show offered a sneak peek at how things like sulfur cubes and sulfur caves will shake the foundation of what Minecraft is and will be going forward. Look forward to new blocks, toxic gases, and more when it launches as the second game drop of the year sometime in 2026. Testing begins soon.

Minecraft Dungeons 2 Is Real, and It Launches This Fall

Mjoang’s Diablo-like spinoff, Minecraft Dungeons, is getting a proper sequel. The full-on game announcement arrived toward the end of Minecraft Live, with players told to wishlist Minecraft Dungeons 2 as the team works to deliver a release date for PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStaiton 5, and Xbox Series X | S sometime this fall.
