Cyberpunk TCG’s Kickstarter Campaign is Officially Live, and It’s Already Hit Its Pledge Goal

Following its initial reveal last year right here on IGN, the new entry into the extremely competitive trading card game market, Cyberpunk TCG, has officially launched its Kickstarter campaign.

The campaign has already far exceeded its initial backing goal of $100,000, raising over $2.4 million at the time of publication (and continues to rise).

With the door open for fans to support the project’s development, there’s a broad spread of options now available to consider backing. At first glance, options scale from starter decks at $49, all the way to an expansive “Night City Legend” tier that’s priced at almost $8,000, and even several stretch goals to boot.

At the most accessible end is the Common Cyberdecks tier, at $49 and $10 off its expected MSRP. This serves as the campaign’s starter experience. It includes two pre-built decks, “The Heist” and “Embracing Power,” designed to introduce players to the game’s core mechanics and factions.

From there, the tiers quickly expand the amount of product included. Options such as Quickhacks at $169, Netrunner Starter Kit at $349, and Street Cred Pack for $499, add large numbers of Beta booster packs, with higher tiers introducing stretch goal rewards and additional collectibles like premium Cyberpunk TCG dice.

At the upper end of the campaign, bundles like Padre’s Blessing at $999, and The Afterlife Package, at $2,799, dramatically increase the card pool (and the cost), while adding accessories, including sleeves, playmats, deck boxes, and collector items. These tiers also feature a metal Legend card based on Hanako Arasaka and, in some cases, a pre-graded CGC card featuring V, the protagonist of the video game.

The Night City Legend tier is the campaign’s biggest offering at $7,999, aimed at collectors and retailers who want the full experience. It includes eight starter decks, a large number of booster displays, and high-end exclusives such as serialized metal cards and uncut sheets of Iconic Rares.

Like any ambitious Kickstarter, the campaign has stretch goals lined up to keep backers excited. Anyone pledging at the Netrunner Starter Kit level or higher will automatically get these bonuses, including the planned Beta Box and a host of other extras as the project hits its funding milestones.

We also recently had the privilege to exclusively reveal some brand new cards from the set, alongside previewing the new TCGs alpha decks. Writing for IGN, Scott White was mighty impressed with Cyberpunk TCG so far, and had this to say:

“Cyberpunk TCG already feels unlike any other card game out there, and I can’t wait to play more.”

“I’m no stranger to TCGs, having been a Magic player for nearly 30 years at this point (gosh I’m old), and have played a wide variety of others from the Final Fantasy TCG, modern Digimon, dabbled in Pokemon, Yugioh, and even played a couple games of the old My Little Pony one, and the upcoming Cyberpunk TCG is already pulling off some surprises that have me excited.”
