Epic Games has postponed the Fortnite PlayStation Cup 2026, which was initially scheduled to kick off on January 27th, to January 30th.

With the Finals taking place on February 1st, the online tournament will feature PS4 and PS5 players competing for a $200,000 (£146,052) prize pool.

The Fortnite PlayStation Cup will be played across Zero Build and Battle Royale modes, with two qualifiers leading into the Finals. The top 50 players from each qualifier will advance to the Finals, with rankings decided by the number of eliminations and Victory Royales secured.

Check out the full schedule below:

  • Round 1 (Battle Royale and Zero Build): January 30th at 6 PM GMT
  • Round 2 (Battle Royale and Zero Build): January 31st at 2 PM GMT
  • Finals (Battle Royale): February 1st at 2 PM GMT
  • Finals (Zero Build): February 1st at 6 PM GMT

Note: All timings listed above are for the Europe region.

The sudden shift in the event’s schedule has sparked backlash from the community, as the new dates clash with tournaments such as the Reload Elite Series, Mobile Series, and FNCS Trial.

How to Play Fortnite PlayStation Cup 2026?

In order to be eligible for the PlayStation Cup 2026, players need to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on their Epic Games account and reach level 50 in Fortnite.

Moreover, participants must have an active PlayStation Plus subscription, along with Bronze 1 or higher rank in the mode they wish to compete in.

Players can join the tournament by heading to the Play tab in Fortnite, pressing the square button on their controller, scrolling down to the Fortnite Competitive section, and selecting PlayStation Cup.
