What is Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition?

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is kind of a mini-game compilation, but the mini-games are all challenges based on 13 classic NES games. We’re talking games like all three NES Super Mario Bros. games, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Kid Icarus, and more.

There’s a Speedrun Mode that has you run through sections of the games as fast as you can to set new personal records. There’s a World Championship Mode with global online leaderboards so you can compete with others. Party Mode lets you play local competitions with up to 8 players.
