God of War Ragnarok is getting a surprise DLC release next week on December 12 titled Valhalla that introduces a roguelike mode – and it’s absolutely free.
The add-on content was announced as part of The Game Awards 2023 and promises more enemies to rip into after the franchise’s latest entry finished its story last year. It’s unclear just how much narrative is included in the DLC, but it does seem to at least give PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players more back-and-forth conversations between Kratos and Mimir.
Judging by the trailer, below, it seems Sony’s God of War will find himself traveling between various environments when Valhalla drops next week.
