‘Wowie Zowie’: Wonder players love Mario’s new voice
Super Mario Bros. Wonder has been out since Oct. 20, and players are already sharing their opinion of the new voice of the Italian plumber. While many still miss the original voice of Charles Martinet, the new Mario voice by Kevin Afghani seems to hit all the right notes.
Back in Aug. 2023, Charles Martinet officially announced that he would stop voicing Mario and become a Nintendo ambassador instead. Nintendo even released a video where Martinet said his heartfelt goodbyes to fans.
