Heroic signs legend to replace cadiaN in CS2—but only for a limited time

Dupreeh is returning to actively competing as Heroic’s fifth CS2 player, at least until the end of 2023, after spending the last four months on Vitality’s bench, the org announced today.

The five-time CS:GO Major champion will have big shoes to fill as he’ll replace cadiaN, who was Heroic’s in-game leader and the face of the whole project. It’s unclear if dupreeh will take on the captaincy duties that belonged to cadiaN or if it will be someone like Martin “stavn” Lund, the secondary caller during cadiaN’s stint.
