Looking to play some free Digimon online? The newest simulator has seen frequent updates that make it a contender for the best of the bunch. Initially, as one would expect out of most solo passion projects, the simulator had some issues. The deck builder not featuring an import system like most of the other common methods of online play.
In the most recent substantial update, community suggestions have been largely addressed. Online deck builders that are capable of importing lists to Tabletop Simulator can be used to import deck lists. Up to 15 decks per account can now be saved for use online.

Quality of Life Changes
Before, when moving full Digimon stacks, such as from the Raising area, cards would have to be moved individually. While cards could be moved individually up and down in stacks, moving the entire thing would be a cumbersome affair. Now, you can move the entire set simply by hovering and selecting the stack icon. The new, clearer UI allows for easier moving of cards to deck bottom. Should you accidentally send something to the bottom, right clicking gives the player an option to reveal the bottom card, as you would in real life.
One of the more clunky parts of playing some free Digimon online was the process of building a deck. Now, identical cards will stack neatly with a counter, making lists much easier to parse.

This alongside importing makes the deck building experience significantly easier. So players can get into the action sooner. Matchmaking remains the same.
Still not perfect
Despite updates, there is still work to be done. In testing, occasionally players would load in with no cards in their starting hand, which would nullify the game. Its unclear what causes these bugs but for new players this could be the difference between getting reps in and not playing at all. Feeding back to the developers in the community Discord is, as always the best way to keep them in the know to fix these errors.
Its great to see another serious contender for best online simulator.
