Street Fighter 6 has been one of the biggest fighting game releases of 2023, and plenty have noticed its increased popularity. One big way we’re seeing this hype for the game manifest is the number of crossovers the games has had. This week Capcom has updated fans on the next collaboration we can expect to ser in the title, Street Fighter 6 X Nijisanji.

Nijisanji is joining the likes of Spy X Family, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more to crossover with Street Fighter. This time SF 6 is directly crossing other with media franchise though, but the world of V-Tubers. The digital representations of streamers are a growing area of the market and Street Fighter 6 x Nijisanji will show this off in-game.

V-Tubers are essentially anime models that sub in for the physical person on a stream. While V-Tubers are some of the biggest Twitch channels, a lot are partnered up with a network instead. Companies that help V-Tubers and operate a stable of different characters which are much more common. Nijisanji is one of the bigger examples of these networks. It’s this company this is going to be crossing over with the Capcom fighter in Street Fighter 6 X Nijisanji.

For the crossover, there are some exclusive items being offered for sale. For each of these, a V-Tuber is being paired up as a SF 6 character that most resembles them:

Luke – Kuzuha
Ryu – Yashiro Kizuku
Chun-Li – Azuchi Momo
Ken – Ibrahim
E. Honda – Sasaki Saku
JP – Kanda Shoichi

In the Capkuji store, there are new items which utilize these match ups. There’s bags, pins, banners, and other stuff available. Although, there’s a bit of a catch. This is all part of a gacha mechanic. When you purchase an item you get one at random, you won’t be able to guarantee what you get.
