5 Essential Maps for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Completionists

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been out all summer, but with so much to explore and find, there are many of us who are still making our way through Hyrule. With the expansion of the Tears of Kingdom map to both the skies and the depth, reaching 100% completion may be out of reach for most. That being said, we have already found pretty much everything for you and can make it a lot easier to inch just a little bit closer to total completion.

Below are some the guides and maps we’ve put together to help you find everything in the latest Zelda game. You can also jump straight to our interactive Tears of the Kingdom map for all of the location markers in one place.

All Shrine Locations Map

There are a total of 152 Shrines in Tears of the Kingdom located both on the ground and in the sky, so completely finding them all is no easy feat. While you certainly don’t need to find all of them to finish the game, each one offers a unique puzzle that makes finding them quite addicting

You can use our guide to all Shrine locations in Tears of the Kingdom to make your search easier and drill down to a specific walkthrough if there’s a specific puzzle giving you trouble.

Korok Seed Locations Map

Similar to Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom has Korok Seeds hidden across Hyrule. Only this time, there are a total of 1,000 Korok Seeds strewn across a much larger area. You only need a fraction of these seeds to trade with Hestu for inventory expansion, but if you’re hoping to find them all we can help you out

You can use our handy guide to all Korok Seed locations hidden across the map or drill down to a specific area of the map. We recommend starting with all of the Great Sky Island Korok Seeds if you’re just beginning.

Armor Locations Map

One of the most important collectible items in Tears of the Kingdom is armor. Whether you’re looking for the very best armor in Tears of the Kingdom or just want to look fashionable, there’s something for everyone. There are quite a few different armor sets both available for purchase or hiding in treasure chests across Hyrule, and we’ve found them all.

You can check out our guide to all armor sets and locations for a list of everything available and where to find it on the map.

All Dragon’s Tears Locations

Similar to the Captured Memories quest in BotW, Tears of the Kingdom has a side quest that has you looking for Dragon’s Tears across Hyrule and unlock memories. Each of these tears unlocks a vision that unravels more of the story. You’ll kick off this collection journey by starting the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest.

There are a total of 12 Dragon Tear geoglyphs hidden across Hyrule, and they can be surprisingly difficult to locate. Finding all of them also allows you to locate the Master Sword, so it’s in your best interest to do so. Check out our map of Dragon’s Tear locations for help finding them all.

Lightroot Locations Map

There are a total of 120 Lightroots located in The Depths beneath Hyrule, which directly correlates all of the shrines located on the surface. Not only are all of the Lightroots directly below the shrines, the names of each one are actually the same name of the shrine above, but backwards.

You can check out our guide to all Lightroot locations for help finding all of them as well as a full map of The Depths.
