He’s taken that up to a staggering 639 wins.
The Elite Smash Win streak record is definitely a fun way to clock up more bragging rights for acola. This is a record set in online, which isn’t the ideal way to play. Since he’s playing in Elite Smash though, it’s not just random players that he’s up against. Acola is actually taking on the best of the best in online Smash players. It takes more than just luck to get the win record up that high. Online Smash is full of wi-fi warriors taking advantage of poor connections. Along with players with a single trick that’ll use cheese tactics to take a quick win and scurry away with a rematch. So how has he done it?

Acola Breaks the Smash Elite Win Streak Record
Acola’s run through the Smash Elite win streak record has taken his full wins up to 639 without losing a match! The last session before he broke the steak had 138 wins over nearly 7 hours of gameplay. It’s a marathon run from the player that proves he’s really on another level compared to most players.
Elite Smash is the upper tier of the Smash Bros online system. This is where players get to once they’ve risen through the ranks online. It’s a bit more competitive than playing in the general side of the game. While online Smash isn’t the same as LAN fighting game esports events, this win streak was still up against just the best players in the game.
The stream in question had some fun moments, but when Acola actually took the record was interesting. The player took a quick screenshot, then jumped back in playing Shiek. Acola’s recent performances at tournaments have been impressive and this new record cements his place as one of the players that Ultimate will be remembered for.
