Kane BlueRiver is definitely a player to watch at the tournament. There are a few recent results that show why he’s worth paying attention to in the game, he got 7-8th at CEO 2023, and 5-8th at EVO Japan for Marvel V Capcom. In the past though, he’s won this game’s side event at EVO Japan. As a former EVO winner for the game, he’s a good pick for players to watch at this event.

RyanLV

RyanLV is a former EVO winner for this game, so he’s definitely worth keeping an eye on at the tournament. He doesn’t quite have the recent pedigree as some others highlighted here, with his last major result being a Twitch Rivals event from 2020. However, with Ultimate Marvel V Capcom returning to the mainstage, he might be able to stage a comeback too.

Nemo

Source: EVO Japan

Nemo is a cross-fighting game player who has achieved big things in King of Fighters, Guilty Gear, and more games. In Marvel V Capcom, he’ll be competing at EVO 2023. He doesn’t have too many recent results in MvC 3. However, in other fighters he’s had some strong results lately like 2nd at EVO Japan for SF V. If this can carry this over into Marvel V Capcom, he could be set for a strong run at the Evo tournament.
