Bengi announces shock resignation from T1 head coach role halfway through LCK season

In a shock July 7 announcement, long-time League of Legends player-turned-coach Bae “Bengi” Seong-woong has resigned from his post at T1 and will depart the organization at the end of the current LCK Summer Season.

The announcement came via Twitter and was signed by T1’s general manager Becker Jung, who thanked Bengi for a “remarkable” journey with the organization as both team jungler and head coach. “His commitment, dedication, and inspiring legacy have left an indelible mark on T1,” Jung said.
