Ubisoft has confirmed The Crew Motorfest will hit the streets on September 14, 2023. The release date for the racer was announced during today’s Ubisoft Forward stream.
Ubisoft first revealed the third installment of The Crew series back in February this year. Once again developed by franchise custodians Ivory Tower, The Crew Motorfest sees the series leave the continental United States for the first time. Set on the island of O’ahu, Hawaii, The Crew Motorfest appears to emulate the festival-style atmosphere of fellow open-world racer Forza Horizon, but will retain its own wide range of vehicle types, including cars, bikes, boats, and aircraft.
Furthermore, developer Ivory Tower has confirmed that players of The Crew 2 will be able to import the contents of their existing garages into The Crew Motorfest, but precise details on how that will work will follow later.
IGN’s hands-on impressions of The Crew Motorfest will follow at the conclusion of Ubisoft’s showcase. There will also be a closed beta in July.
Today’s Ubisoft Forward stream is just one of several major streams, showcases, and summits set for this month, but you can stay on top of how to watch the busy schedule of games events right here on IGN.
