Telltale Games announced that The Expanse: A Telltale Series Episode One will launch on July 27 for PC via Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
The game is set prior to the events of The Expanse TV show and players assume the role of Camina Drummer as she and her scavenger crew explore the asteroid belt called The Belt aboard The Artemis ship. She will encounter pirates, face mutinies, and scavenge wrecked ships in a zero-g environment. From the TV show, actress Cara Gee reprises her role as Drummer in the game.

There are five episodes total in this series and each of the following four episodes will release every two weeks after episode one airs in July. The standard edition is $40 and the Deluxe Edition is $45. Those who preorder on PlayStation and PC will receive 24 hours early access and Deluxe Edition owners will get future DLC content that’ll be revealed at a later date.
The Expanse: A Telltale Series was first revealed at The Game Awards 2021. It is being co-developed by Life is Strange: True Colors studio Deck Nine. This is the first new IP from Telltale since it was revived in 2019.
