Fortnite’s home to tons of crossovers but one franchise has way more than anything else. In Fortnite all seasons, there’s been a pretty heavy weighting towards this one name. Fortnite Marvel content might be the most substantial crossover Epic has ever done.
Marvel content has appeared across loads of seasons of the game. We’re never far from a new skin in the item shop to coincide with whatever Disney Plus Series or 18th sequel is being released that week! We’ve even had full Marvel X Fortnite seasons, taking over the map and Battle Pass. We’ll cover all the Marvel crossovers that we’ve gotten.
Fortnite Marvel Skins and Crossovers
The crossovers go beyond just some item shop skins. We’ve had loads of different types of Marvel content in the game. That’s even including a crossover out of the game, a Fortnite Marvel comic that crossed over the lore of both franchises! This is what we’ve gotten in terms of Marvel content so far.

Marvel skins date back to pretty early in the game. This means they’re not all as polished as Goku in Fortnite, but they probably have more characters in the game than any other franchise.
Marvel X Fortnite Season
A whole season of Fortnite was a Marvel crossover. We had a Battle Pass consisting entirely of Marvel characters, huge Marvel POIs and Mythics, it was pretty much all encompassing for a few months.
That season had quite a few additions to the Fortnite Marvel series of skins. It hasn’t been the only Battle Pass inclusion though. Out of every Fortnite crossover, this is probably the one that comes back the most.
Why There’s So Many Marvel Skins?
For quite a few seasons in a row, Marvel skins were pretty much always the final character in the Battle Pass. We got a skin for every Marvel product released. We even saw this get a bit complicated when a Spider-Man movie was delayed but a Fortnite season coinciding with its release date had a skin directly taken from that franchise at tier 100! It didn’t just go one way either, a physical Fortnite Marvel comic even got published.
These have slowed down more recently. Although, it was a bit of a weird patch. If we’re being cynical, it was likely a promotional deal with Marvel that specified these seasonal releases even though it got to a point of overkill. However, the Battle Pass skins were still pretty popular so not much harm was done!
In the future, we’re definitely going to get more Fortnite Marvel skins. As long as there are new superhero films and tv shows to promote, we’ll likely get more iterations on this! If your favorite character isn’t in the Marvel X Fortnite skins already here, you might still get another chance!
