CoD Mobile Season 7 is set to bring a lot of new content to the game. This includes a new battle pass, a themed event with the Netflix series Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045, a new operator skill, SMG, and much more to the game.
Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045 is an anime sci-fi series available on Netflix. Activision has added a lot of new features to the game as a part of its collaboration with the show.
CoD Mobile Season 7 Release Date & New Content Details
The anticipated season is only a few days away. Activision has confirmed that season 7 will be launching on Aug. 4 at 12 am GMT.
While the new season will officially begin at this time, the content update for it will be released a bit beforehand. Players will be able to download it through their respective application stores or an in-game update.
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 collaboration to bring big map changes
As a part of Activision’s tie-up with the Netflix series, some big changes have landed into CoD Mobile’s Battle Royale Mode in Season 7. The collaboration brings a new futuristic cyber city to the Isolated map, situated near Nuketown. On entering this city, players will shift to a new nighttime arena with neon lights and high-rise buildings.
The BR mode is also getting some other changes for the first time since CoD Mobile Season 6. To revive players now, allies have to collect their ghosts instead of the dog tags. New PvE enemies have also been added to the map. Players can defeat them to collect parts. These can later be traded for Cyberware enhancements.
There will be four Cyberware enhancements in the mode:
Cyberbrain Done: It will allow players to control a microdrone which can be used to scout an area and locate enemies.
Ocular System: This system will detect nearby enemies and will also display their statistics.
Cyberbody Limbs: This grants a player improved physical power. Additionally, the player’s right arm will be transformed to perform an aerial melee attack.
Neuro Systems: Lastly, this system optimizes players’ precision and targeting abilities.
Seasonal Ghost in the Shell themed challenges coming to CoD Mobile Season 7
Throughout the season, Activision will be releasing different challenges to keep players hooked. Through these, you can unlock blueprints, operator skins, and up to 30,000 Battle Pass XP. A new attachment for ASM 10 will also be unlockable through the seasonal challenge.
The themed event for CoD Mobile Season 7 is also based on Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045. Players have to assist the series’ Togusa in battle by playing multiplayer and battle royale matches. A lot of rewards can be unlocked through the event.
New Operator Skill and SMG in the upcoming Battle Pass
The Season 7 Battle Pass is set to introduce a new operator skill called Claw Operator. Players can unlock it for free by reaching tier 14 in the Battle Pass.
Additionally, a new weapon is also coming in the battle pass. By reaching tier 21, players will be able to unlock the new Switchblade X9 SMG. Besides this, the Free Battle Pass will offer camos, weapon blueprints, and also the Arcane Slayer Calling Card at Tier 50.
The Premium Pass, on the other hand, costs 220 CP and offers significantly better rewards. This includes Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045-inspired operators such as the Blackjack — Elite, Stryker — Interface, and Battery — EVE-III. Weapon blueprints for the Kilo 141, Arctic .50, Shorty, and the new Switchblade X9 are also available.
