Here is the full guide on how to build ADC Jhin in League of Legends season 13 like one of the best Jhin players in the world: IKeepItTaco.
Jhin Build Guide – Everything you need to know
Jhin was one of the big winners of the ADC changes that were introduced earlier in the season, transforming him into one of the best marksman picks. Not only does he provide good damage output but he also has strong wave clear to handle the lane pressure.
But more importantly, Jhin has one of the most fluid animations and kits in the game, making him a truly enjoyable experience. If you are not sure how to build Jhin in LoL, we’ve compiled the best current builds and runes setups from one of the best Jhin players in the world: IKeepItTaco. For those who don’t know, he’s a high Elo ADC player who mains Jhin and Jinx.
Jhin ADC Item build
Given the latest buffs to the ADC items, Jhin is now one of those champions that want to rush Infinity Edge immediately after the Mythic item. This change allows him to hit a stronger mid-game spike, greatly increasing his overall damage output.
Jhin’s Mythic item is still Galeforce. It synergizes with his kit perfectly, and the active item can be used both offensively or defensively depending on the situation. After that, pick up the Infinity Edge and a Rapid Firecannon to get access to the empowered auto attacks. If you’re facing tanky champions, you can consider rushing Lord Dominik’s Regard as the third item instead.
Regardless of the order, you want to get both items anyway. To round off the build, the last time can be either a Guardian Angel if you want more resistances, or a Bloodthirster for the extra lifesteal. In case you are facing heavy magic damage, Maw of Malmortius is the way to go.
Overall, this is the usual build seen in most of his Jhin games:
Galeforce
Boots of Swiftness
Infinity Edge
Rapid Firecannon
Lord Dominik’s Regard
Guardian Angel/Bloodthirster

Jhin’s Runes
Ever since Fleet Footwork was introduced to the game, Jhin has become a primary user of the rune. Not only does it grant Jhin good sustain without the need of lifesteal items, but it also grants movement speed bonuses to improve its kiting ability.
By going Fleet Footwork, you usually want to pick the following minor runes:
Presence of Mind since Jhin is a heavy ability user and wants to have more mana regeneration;
Legend: Bloodline for extra lifesteal;
Coup de Grace for more damage when he throws crit strikes at low-health targets.
For the secondary tree, choose Sorcery and go for Nimbus Cloak and Celerity to get additional movement speed while kiting and firing the fourth shots.
If you want to play Jhin like IKeepItTaco, sticking to this guide will allow you to get the most out of the Virtuoso.
