With World of Warcraft Dragonflight now released, and players riding dragons and general having a blast with the new expansion, it’s time to plan your own expedition to the Dragon Isles via boat or zeppelin.
And while some players are clearly having no issues getting to the Dragon Isles and quickly reaching level 70, it’s always useful to double check exactly how to get to a new area. So here’s all WoW Dragonflight boat and zeppelin locations so you can find out how to get to the Dragon Isles.
Getting to the Dragon Isles if you’re Alliance

If you’re part of the Alliance, you’ll need to travel to the Dragon Isles from Stormwind Harbor. There’s a unique boat that’ll take you specifically to the Dragon Isles. You may need to speak to some NPCs around the area, but they shouldn’t be hard to spot. They’re the ones (currently) surrounded by hosts of players eager for the new expansions! The boat is called the Rugged Dragonscale, and there’s also a timer that you can see while you’re waiting.

If you’re a member of the Horde, then it’s air travel for you! Visit the Orgrimmar Zeppelin Master. You’ll be waiting for a specific Zeppelin, so double check which Zeppelin you’re about to jump on before you go. The Zeppelin is called the Defiant Dragonscale, so keep your eyes peeled! There’s, ofcourse, a timer so you know when it’s coming
What to do if the Zeppelin or Boat doesn’t appear in WoW Dragonflight
Sadly, there’s currently a number of issues plaguing Dragonflight relating to boats and zeppelins. These range from players being stuck in loading zones and loading screens, to crashes, to even just the boats just not turning up at all!
Unfortunately, these boat and zeppelin bugs are just a part of the roll out of Dragonflight, and a fact of WoW life right now. As a result, you’ll just have to grin and bear it for now. It’ll be fixed soon… Hopefully!
