One of the more popular esports organizations from SEA has announced its return to Dota 2. The NEON Atomic Dota 2 roster will play its debut match in the BTS Pro Series Season 13: Southeast Asia
NEON esports entered the Dota 2 scene with the ESL One Hamburg: SEA Qualifier in 2017. The org has fielded multiple rosters in Dota 2 and has often been one of the more popular orgs in Dota 2.

Skadilicious is not a new name for Dota 2 fans. The 24-year-old Philippines player was a member of NEON’s Dota 2 roster in 2018. He parted ways with the team in September 2019 to play for Lowkey esports before signing up with LGD.Int in early 2020.
Meanwhile, Seri has played for Motivate.Trust Gaming previously and joined team MY in July 2021. Team MY would often perform well in open qualifiers but would falter against stronger opponents.
Probably the most experienced in the new roster is JG. The 22-year-old midlander has played for a variety of teams including NEON esports. He also has played for Reckoning esports, Made in Philipines and most recently, XERXIA esports. On April 12, 2022, he joined an elite club of players who have more than 10,000 MMR in Dota 2.
At first glance, the roster might not strike awe, but as an org, NEON esports has consistently shown its affinity to developing local talent. And with this roster, there is abright opportunity for NEON to surprise other teams in the SEA division
The new roster – named Atomic Neon – will compete in the BTS Pro Series Season 13: SEA.

The BTS Pro Series Season 13 features a $40,000 prize pool for each of the two regions. The tournament takes place across two regions – one for Americas and one for Southeast Asia.
Earlier this year BTS had announced the end of its time in Dota 2 after failing to secure a regional DPC division for the next season. But then the TO came up with its popular BTS pro series to fill a void that’s usually prevalent in Dota 2 esports post-TI.
