It’s official. ESL FACEIT Group has announced that IEM will return to Brazil in 2023 for more competitive CS:GO action! Read on for information about IEM Brazil 2023 plus the ESL Pro Tour details for 2023!

IEM Brazil 2023

IEM Brazil 2023 will be a part of the ESL Pro Tour’s CS:GO program in 2023. It will be an ESL Pro Tour Masters tournament and showcase the skills of the very best CS:GO teams from across the globe.

The IEM Brazil 2023 event will also include the top 16 CS:GO teams duking it out for the lion’s share of the $250,000 total prize pool. Other items at stake include a win towards the Intel Grand Slam and a coveted spot in a ESL Pro Tour Championships, namely IEM Katowice or IEM Cologne.

While IEM Rio 2022 just took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the exact location of IEM Brazil 2023 hasn’t been confirmed yet.

CS:GO esports in 2023

For the ESL Pro Tour Championships, IEM Katowice 2023 will take place from January 31st to February 12th. Meanwhile, IEM Cologne 2023 will happen through July 25th to August 6th. Each of these momentous tournaments will feature a whopping $1,000,000 total prize pool.

“Revealing our plans for the next year is always an important milestone for us,” Shaun Clark, CS:GO Senior Director of Game Ecosystems, said in a press release. “It’s exciting to be looking forward to over 40+ tournaments around the globe, serving all tiers of the CS:GO competitive pyramid – from aspiring to professional.”

Clark added that while his team planned out these esports events, the work isn’t finished as they want to keep improving and creating amazing experiences for the global community.

ESL Pro Tour Masters

The core professional CS:GO program will have qualifications to the ESL Pro Tour Championships at stake. Below is the schedule for the important dates of 2023:

ESL Pro Tour Challenger 2023 events

As for ESL Pro Tour Challenger events, they’re made for aspiring CS:GO teams. These tournaments will give players regional and national chances to level up their gameplay.
