Top 10 worst Fortnite items of all time

Top 10 worst Fortnite items of all time

Top 10 worst Fortnite items of all time

As one of the world’s most popular battle royales, Fortnite is notorious for constantly switching items in-n-out of the game. With favorites like the pump shotgun or the epic assault rifle, Fortnite has provided a lot of fan-favorite items, but what about the less liked items?

Here is our list of Fortnite’s top 10 worst items of all time.

10. Six Shooter Pistol

Six Shooter

Starting off with our list with number 10 is the infamous Six Shooter pistol. Introduced in Chapter 1, Season 6, this weapon was not loved by many. With a magazine size of only six bullets and a low fire rate unless done at hip fire, the gun does not pack much of a punch.

Ultimately, this weapon did not last too long within the game, as it has been vaulted for quite some time.

9. Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle

Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle

As one of the game’s oldest weapons, the Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle has been a fan favorite for one of the most hated weapons in Fortnite. With a very low damage count and a unique and odd bullet drop, this gun did not take hold with most players.

The gun has consistently been vaulted and unvaulted throughout the game’s history, still being one of fan’s least liked games.

8. Drum Gun Shotgun

Drum Gun Shotgun

Categorized as one of the game’s most unbalanced weapons, the drum gun shotgun has held the attention of a lot of angry players. With such a fast fire rate and large magazine size, players have a hard time combatting this weapon.

First introduced in Chapter 1, the gun was heavily disliked by most players, and then introduced as a primal weapon in Chapter 2, the gun prioritized itself as one of Fortnite worst items of all time.

7. Machine Pistol

Machine Pistol

First introduced in Chapter 2, Season 7, the machine pistol was a weapon that did not catch on as a popular weapon. With a high fire rate and a low damage count, this gun was a breeze to fight against. The weapon also portrayed a heavy recoil, which made the weapon difficult to operate.

Overall, I would say the Machine pistol will go down in history as one of Fortnite worst items.

6. Stink Bombs

Notorious as one of Fortnite’s most frustrating items, the stink bombs have left quite a legacy. The persistent damage that comes along with their wide range after exploding makes it difficult for players to avoid them.

With being introduced at the beginning of Fortnite, players had not yet mastered quick editing skills. Once you were based up, it felt almost impossible to leave your base after being bombarded by stink bombs.

5. Fireflies

Fireflies

Coming up right after the stink bombs, the fireflies have to be what some would consider the next generation of stink bombs. With their tendency to light wood on fire, this is an item that has had players losing their minds since the second it was released.

With a game relying so heavily on multiple different mechanics happening at once, throwing fire into the mix is something no player ever wants to deal with.

4. Grenades

Grenades

Taking the cake for the worst item you throw, the grenade sits as one of Fortnite’s least-liked items of all time. When the item was first introduced into the game, players were able to hold a large amount of the grenades. The constant barrage brought along with this item became a large annoyance for many players.

The grenades have been vaulted and unvaulted constantly throughout the history of Fortnite. Competitive playlists have not included them since Chapter 2, Season 1.

3. Lever Action Rifle

Lever Action Rifle

Introduced in Chapter 2, Season 5, the lever action rifle served a purpose as being one of Fortnite’s most underwhelming weapons. With a low damage count, the weapon was practically useless going against all other weapons.

The gun only saw the light of day for two seasons and has been vaulted ever since.

2. Dragon’s Breath shotgun

Dragon’s Breath Shotgun

Coming down to our top two worst items of all in the history of Fortnite, the Dragon’s Breath Shotgun holds a special place on our list. This weapon not only used four shotgun bullets for one shot but also hit a ridiculously heavy shot and set everything around it on fire.

The gun was a combination of the shotgun and fireflies, making the weapon incredibly difficult to combat if you are building in wood at the moment. The weapon only saw the light for one season and has yet to make a comeback.

1. B.R.U.T.E

B.R.U.T.E.

When evaluating our list of the top 10 worst items within Fortnite, the number one pick for the list was an easy one. The B.R.U.T.E (often referred to as “mechs”) wins one thousand times over as the worst item to ever touch the game of Fortnite.

Introduced in Chapter 1, Season 10, this weaponized vehicle conquered the island. Allowing for entire squads to fit inside one B.R.U.T.E, its crazy fire rates would reign through player’s bases. It is no question as to why this vehicle takes the place as the worst Fortnite item of all time.

What is your least favorite item in Fortnite?

Every gamer has their own list of their least favorite Fortnite items. From the B.R.U.T.E.’s to the drum gun, what is your least favorite item that Fortnite has ever introduced?
