Between controversies regarding the pricing of items in the in-game shop, the decision to lock new heroes behind tedious battle pass grinds, and the reveal of infrequent balance updates, the only steady part of the launch month of Overwatch 2 has been the game’s viewership on Twitch during promotional campaigns.
