Critics love the voice acting in God of War: Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok: it’s real good! I’m maybe ten hours in? The combat feels great, the story has me hooked, and Richard Schiff as Odin steals every damn scene. He even gets a legit Toby Ziegler walk-and-talk that made me die laughing

Among the most talked about aspects in critic reviews for God of War: Ragnarok is the voice-acting. An ensemble cast that features the likes of Christopher Judge, Sunny Sulijic, Richard Schiff, and Ben Prendergast transforms God of War Ragnarok into one of the most brilliant storytelling experiences in gaming.

God of War Ragnarok is the biggest PS5 release

It’s safe to assume that many people bought the PS5 for God of War: Ragnarok. In fact, God of War (2018) is what pushed many players to purchase a PS4. These games are essentially flagship releases for Sony’s gaming console, which is known for its legacy of exclusive titles.

While the Playstation 5 already has a few big titles like Horizon: Forbidden West and Returnal, neither of them matches up to the grandeur that is a God of War title. The series redefined itself as a signature Sony Playstation franchise with Ragnarok’s predecessor. With a Metacritic rating of 94, God of War: Ragnarok is the highest-rated PS5 exclusive on the site. It’s also the second highest-rated game released on current-gen consoles after Elden Ring (96).

God of War Ragnarok releases for the PS5 on November 9th around the world. Now that the review embargo has lifted, everyone knows it’s going to be epic.
