Twelve years after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt came out, Geralt is getting another full expansion. Songs of the Past sends him to Letten, Dandelion’s homeland, and brings a new open-world region, new monsters, new quests, a silver chain for Geralt, and another romance option along with it.
CD Projekt Red and Fool’s Theory showed a lot more of it at gamescom, including roughly 15 minutes of gameplay and the early main quest A Bed of Thorns. That footage introduced Dandelion’s family, explained how Letten works as an open world, and confirmed that everything improved in The Witcher 3 Remastered carries over into the expansion.
