Pokémon TCG: Latest Mega Evolution Booster Bundles Drop to All-Time Low Prices at Amazon

As ever, Pokémon TCG continues to go from strength to strength in 2026, with the recently released Mega Evolution expansion Pitch Black being a certified hit, and the highly anticipated 30th Celebration set incoming in September (if you’re lucky enough to secure preorders — good luck with that).

While all eyes are on the future of the massive TCG, especially with prices on the resale market as expensive as ever, now is the perfect time to have a little look back at some of the other Mega Evolution expansions from earlier this year, and see what’s what, and whether there are any better deals to be had compared to when they first released.

And, contrary to popular belief, and even what I’ve been spouting only a few lines back, things aren’t too bad. In fact, depending on your perspective, it’s looking pretty good!

If you’re interested in picking up some booster bundles for any of Mega Evolution – Pitch Black, Chaos Rising, or Perfect Order, you’re in luck. Amazon has recently restocked its warehouses and is dishing out discounts on these sets like it’s going out of fashion. Each booster bundle is down to around $40, matching or falling below market price. Considering Amazon has a habit of listing its Pokémon TCG products around $10-$20 above market price, this is great news.

TCGplayer is still a great place to pick up these boosters as well. But… if you’ve got an Amazon Prime Membership, any gift card credit built up, and you’re looking for fast, speedy delivery at no extra cost (with a consistent price for each purchase), then Amazon is likely a better option for you right now.

$40 is still a little over MSRP in the U.S. ($26.94), and a 48.48% markup; this is still a fairly good price for Pokémon TCG boosters in 2026, and probably the most consistently easy way to collect cards for the new expansions without paying above and beyond what you’d expect.

Plus, with how unbelievably difficult it is to find anything at MSRP for the past few years, most of us would consider MSRP a straight-up discount anyway. Market price is the new standard, and while it can fluctuate, it’s a much more reliable measure to go by for now.

But only you can make the decision on whether the price is worth it. Market price is typically driven by what fans like ourselves are willing to pay, so you can influence it yourself by making that decision.

Looking at what’s up for grabs a little more granularly, my favorite deal of the lot is absolutely on the Pitch Black Booster Bundle, which is down to $39.95.

That’s pretty much bang on market price right now, and with six boosters included, you’re looking at around $6.65 per pack, with 10 cards in each, and 60 in total (working out at about $0.11 per card). Considering this is the most recent release of the lot, I’d be snapping up two or three of these ASAP while the price holds out.

For those chasing the most valuable cards from the Pitch Black, I’ll leave a handy round-up of what you should be looking out for just below as well. Mega Darkrai ex’s Special Illustration Rare (116/084) is the one to look out for right now, and sells for $282.82 online right now, while its shiny gold Mega Hyper Rare equivilent (120/084) is also a fairly valuable pull, selling for around $196.51 at TCGplayer.
