Adaptations in Subnautica 2 are integral to your survival and progression in the game. They’ll help you expand your horizons from venturing into incredibly hot waters to unlocking alien language. But, in order to gain these Adaptations, you need to interact with Angel Comb plants. These special organisms will alter your character’s DNA for the better.
There’s four in total, ranging in difficulty as the game progresses. Once you’ve got them all, you’ll be able to get into places that weren’t available to you before. Plus, you’ll also be able to eat your environment, which of course is pretty integral to life. But, you won’t be able to grab all of them in the early game unless you put in some hard work first.
