The summer of game reveals continues, and after Sony’s PlayStation State of Play, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, voice-actor-hosted Future Games Show, and a plethora of smaller directs, it was time for Xbox Games Showcase 2026. It aired on June 7, with Microsoft using the broadcast to show upcoming games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, Activision, Blizzard, and lots of third-party partners.
The show also included new looks at several of Xbox’s larger upcoming releases, including Fable and Gears of War: E-Day. We already knew that Fable was delayed to February 2027, while Gears of War: E-Day had a separate Direct scheduled immediately after the main Xbox broadcast.
