Aside from your inventory, the Databank is probably the most powerful tool available on your PDA in Subnautica 2. Every time you scan a creature for the first time, or unlock a recording from one of the crew here before you, you’ll gain a new entry in your Databank which you can use to gain new (and practical) knowledge for the rest of your playthrough.
