Details have been revealed regarding the prizes on offer for players competing in the 2XKO tournament during the upcoming FGC festival, Evo Japan 2026.
Rewards include in-game skins and cosmetics, in addition to a cut of the prize pool saved only for the top-performing competitors.
Tournaments at Evo Japan 2026 allow anyone to participate, with late registrations open until March 16th. As such, every competitor is eligible to receive a reward, although they must complete all of their matches without forfeiting. Additionally, participants must link their start.gg account to their Riot account.
Players who compete in the 2XKO tournament will earn the Blood Moon Akali skin, a cosmetic for the latest addition to the fighting game’s character roster and Akali pin exclusive to Evo Japan 2026.
Those who make it out of the brackets will unlock a selection of skins, including the Akali skin by default and Blood Moon skins for League of Legends characters Ekko and Yasuo. It is important to note that the Blood Moon set will also be available to purchase in-game before Evo Japan 2026 begins.
Players can visit the 2XKO booth to redeem their rewards, which will be added to their collection within a week after Evo Japan 2026 ends.
The top eight 2XKO players will earn a cut of the $60,000 (~£45,100) prize pool. The final prize pot will increase based on revenue gathered from the Frame Perfect bundle, which contributes to all 2026 Competitive Series events, in addition to the total number of 2XKO registrations.
The Duo Bounty will also take effect at Evo Japan 2026, where the highest placing duo will earn an additional $5,000 (~£3,750).
