Riot Games has confirmed the six teams set to compete in the 2026 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Lock-In playoffs, along with new details about the finals weekend and fan activations in Los Angeles.

According to the announcement, the winner of the event will also represent North America at the First Stand Tournament (FST), scheduled to take place in São Paulo this March.

Six Teams Confirmed For 2026 LCS Lock-In Playoffs

The 2026 Lock-In event will see FlyQuest, Cloud9 Kia, Sentinels, Disguised, Team Liquid Alienware and LYON advance to the playoff stage.

Each organisation secured its place following the conclusion of the regular Lock-In stage. Riot Games stated that each team “brings a different identity” to the competition, though all share the same objective of securing the first domestic title of the season.

Fans to Return to Riot Games Arena For Finals Day

Playoff matches are set to take place at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, with tickets now on sale. According to the announcement, the in-person finals event on March 1st will also feature a two-hour tailgate running from 11 AM to 1 PM PT.

The fan festival is expected to include themed activities such as a Demacia Joustin’ Booth, refreshments and player meet-and-greet opportunities. Team booths from Cloud9 Kia, Dignitas, FlyQuest, Shopify Rebellion and Team Liquid Alienware will also be present, offering activities, giveaways and merchandise.

Riot Games added that partner booths will be available, including an activation from automotive brand Kia, which will showcase the 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid and run a Kia Locker Challenge experience for attendees.

As part of the finals celebrations, two Kia-sponsored awards will be presented. The Kia Most Fearless Player will be announced on March 1st before the finals series begins, while the Kia Finals MVP will be revealed after the trophy ceremony.

North America’s First International Representative of the Year

Riot Games noted that the awards aim to highlight players who ‘push limits’ and deliver decisive performances during the tournament. The winner of the Lock-In tournament will earn North America’s place at the FST, an international event Riot Games positioned as a key early-season competition for the global League of Legends ecosystem.

The 2026 LCS regular season will resume following the Lock-In finals, with participating teams aiming to build momentum ahead of the broader international calendar.
