Japanese esports organisation VARREL has announced that it has entered a sponsorship agreement with gaming PC brand GALLERIA.
As part of the deal, VARREL’s players will gain access to provisions from GALLERIA in preparation for future tournaments.
According to a translated blog post by VARREL, the esports organisation also shared intentions to hold initiatives in the future, such as content production.
Fumio Suzuki, President of CELLORB, VARREL’s parent company, said: “GALLERIA is a brand that is supported by many professional gamers and esports fans, and we feel that it is a strong support for our competitive activities.
“Through this agreement, we will do our best to further improve our competitiveness as a team and contribute to the development of the esports scene.”
GALLERIA becomes the latest brand to join VARREL’s portfolio of partners, which includes local brands such as Axis, BrainSleep, Asuno Systems and more.
A spokesperson of Third Wave, parent company of GALLERIA, added: “We are truly pleased to have signed a sponsorship agreement with VARREL. Through GALLERIA, Third Wave will support athletes who face the competition head-on from the field and work together to further develop the esports scene.”
The past year has seen a number of gaming peripheral brands partner with esports organisations across the world, with VARREL and GALLERIA becoming the latest alliance.
Recently, ASUS Republic of Gamers entered a two-year partnership with South Korean esports organisation DRX, equipping its VALORANt and League of Legends rosters with its Ace Esports products. Elsewhere, Logitech G announced expanding its partnership with North American brand FlyQuest.
