Following 2XKO’s launch on console earlier this month, Riot Games has unveiled the entire 2026 esports roadmap for the FGC title.

The competitive circuit, also known as the 2XKO Competitive Series, will include five major events and 15 Challenger tournaments, all sponsored by Riot and in partnership with community organisers.

Compared to the initial announcement in December, Riot Games decided to no longer group the events by in-game seasons, after reducing the number from five to three. According to the game publisher, the decision was made to make the structure more flexible.

Major Events for 2XKO in 2026

The competitive season will kick off with the first Major of the year, Frosty Faustings XVIII, which will be taking place in Illinois, United States, from January 29th to February 1st. The tournament, which features 962 participants, will have a combined prize pool of $50,000 (~£36,973), split among the top 24 players.

After Fausty Frostings, the next three major events will be hosted by EVO, with Japan being the first stop on May 1st-3rd, followed by EVO Vegas at the end of June, and EVO France in mid-October.

The last major event for 2026 will be the Battle Coliseum, which will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from November 20th to November 22nd.

Challengers Will Take Place Between Major Events

The first Challenger event will be at Genesis X3 (GX3) in San Jose, California, before moving over to Texas Showdown at the end of March. Aside from the United States, events will take place in Austria, Australia, France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.

With a total of 15 events planned throughout the year, Riot Games has currently unveiled 11 of them, with four more expected to be revealed at a later date, according to a release by Riot Games. Registrations are currently open for selected tournaments.
