The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) has announced the return and expansion of its Roadtrips initiative in 2026, with five arena events scheduled across the season.

According to an announcement from Riot Games, the expanded calendar will see LEC Roadtrips increase from two-day shows to three-day events, bringing a total of 15 days of live League of Legends competition to arenas across Europe.

The five Roadtrips will take place alongside the LEC Summer Finals, resulting in six arena events in total next year, in addition to the league’s regular studio matches in Berlin.

The 2026 Roadtrips will once again be hosted by Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp, both of which partnered with the LEC on similar events last season. Each organisation will host Roadtrips in its home market, with Riot Games stating that teams will continue to have creative input over locations and event formats.

Movistar KOI to Host Three LEC Roadtrips in Spain

Movistar KOI will host three of the five Roadtrips, beginning with the 2026 LEC Versus Finals in Badalona, marking the LEC’s first-ever event in Barcelona. The Versus Finals will take place from February 27th to March 1st, 2026 at the Olimpic Arena in Badalona. Following the opening event, Movistar KOI will also host Spring and Summer split Roadtrips at the Madrid Arena.

The Spring Roadtrip in Madrid is scheduled for May 8th to 10th, with the Summer Roadtrip set to run from September 4th to 6th. Across the two events, fans will see Movistar KOI compete against other LEC teams in front of a home crowd during the regular season.

Karmine Corp will host the remaining two Roadtrips, one during the Spring Split and another during the Summer Split.

The Spring Roadtrip will take place from April 24th to 26th at Les Arènes in Évry-Courcouronnes, just outside Paris. Details for Karmine Corp’s Summer Roadtrip, including dates and venue, have yet to be confirmed.

According to the announcement, both events are expected to centre around Karmine Corp’s ‘Blue Wall’ fanbase, which has become known for filling arenas across Europe during international and domestic League of Legends events.

HyperX Joins as Official Peripherals Partner

Riot Games also confirmed that HyperX will serve as the Official Peripherals Partner for all five LEC Roadtrips in 2026. The gaming hardware brand will provide equipment for players across each event, extending its existing involvement in League of Legends esports.

In addition to the Roadtrips, Riot Games reiterated that the LEC Summer Finals will return as the season’s flagship live event. While the location for the 2026 Summer Finals has not yet been revealed, Riot Games noted that further details will be shared at a later date.
