Further information will be available following Riot’s investigation. The announcement does not name any player, but it is most likely an automatic third-party tool usage detection by Riot’s anti-cheat software.

EQ Cerise players deny wrongdoing

Following the official ruling, EQ Cerise IGL Amber denied any wrongdoings by their players.

I’m going on record to flat-out deny this. Our game against CLG was extremely close. The player in question who allegedly was using 3rd party software was bottom fragging that map. If it does come out that my teammate was cheating that sucks. We would have won the match anyways. https://t.co/aMTjDCC0eK

In a subsequent tweet, she also confirmed they will fight the ruling.

We are currently working on fighting this ruling. It is extremely unfair considering all the evidence.
