It’s official! Need for Speed is back after its brief hiatus. EA dropped the trailer for Need for Speed Unbound today (October 6th) after the game’s screenshots were leaked. Fans of the series were already anticipating a Need for Speed release this year, as it’s been a while since one of these titles was released. Now, we finally know what it looks like and it looks incredible. And there’s plenty of excitement around racing game fans for Need for Speed Unbound.
The game will feature popular rapper and fashion icon, A$AP Rocky. The main attraction is the game’s return to a street-racing setting which includes high-stakes racing, car customization, cop chases, and a rags-to-riches single-player campaign. The art style is very unique too, with an animated action series look.

Need for Speed Unbound release date and platforms
Need for Speed Unbound will release on December 2, 2022, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X consoles. Players can pre-order the game for $70 on all platforms including the new EA app for PC. There’s also the Need for Speed Unbound Palace Edition, which includes bonus content and costs $80. EA plans to treat the game like a live-service title with future content updates and extra features in the pipeline.
