Wolfe Glick goes flawless on day one of the Pokémon World Championships

Former world champion Wolfe Glick ended day one of the 2024 Pokémon World Championships with a flawless record—but you might’ve missed it on the broadcast.

Pokémon Worlds kicked off in Hawaii on Aug. 16 with eight rounds of Swiss for the best VGC players in the world. Out of all the VGC competitors in attendance, only three came out with perfect 8-0 records. One of them was the 2016 world champion and beloved content creator Wolfe Glick.
