Destiny 2: Where Is Xur Today? Location and Exotic Items for September 23-27

The swine of The Nine, Xûr, is now live in Destiny 2 for the weekend until next week’s reset. If you’re looking to get your some shiny new Exotic armor or weapons for your Guardian, look no further.

Each week, Xûr has a random assortment of Exotic armor, one for each Guardian class, as well as a random Exotic Weapon and an Exotic Engram available for purchase. In addition to his Exotic wares, he’s got a random collection of Legendary weapons and armor to deck out your Guardians.

We’ve rounded up all the info on Xûr for the week including where to find Xûr, which Exotic weapons and armor are available, as well as which Legendary weapons you should pick up, either for PvE or PvP.

Where Is Xûr Today?

Xûr’s location can be found at Winding Cove in the EDZ on September 23 through September 27. To reach him, travel to the landing point at Winding Cove. When you arrive, make for the rock cliffs at the far end of the cove and look for a cave winding up to a platform next to some Fallen. There you’ll find the freakish salesman we all adore.

What’s Xûr Selling Today?

Raiden Flux – Exotic Hunter Chest Armor

8 Mobility8 Resilience18 Recovery7 Discipline16 Intellect9 StrengthTotal: 66

Lunafaction Boots – Exotic Warlock Leg Armor

2 Mobility13 Resilience17 Recovery2 Discipline16 Intellect12 StrengthTotal: 62

The best roll this week is the Aeon Safe boots for Titans — unfortunately this exotic isn’t very good in the current (or any previous) meta, so your use case for this may be limited. I think it’s worth picking up for the unlikely event that Aeon Safe enters the meta in a significant way. The other exotics this week are pretty bad rolls, so skip ’em!

Exotic Weapons

Hawkmoon – Exotic Hand Cannon

Dead Man’s Tale – Exotic Scout Rifle

Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale are both great weapons, but the rolls this week are pretty mid. Pick them up if you need them, but if you wait then you’ll likely find better rolls ’round the bend.

My top picks this week are the rolls for Code Duello, and Seventh Seraph VY-7. The rocket launcher has an interesting combination of perks that make it double-buffed in certain situations that could be great for DPS. The submachine gun’s combination of Dragonfly and Fourth Time’s The Charm make it a quite deadly option for PvE.

Warlock Legendary Armor

For Warlocks, Xûr is selling the Simulator set which includes:

Simulator Gauntlets

13 Mobility16 Resilience2 Recovery14 Discipline2 Intellect14 StrengthTotal: 61

Simulator Chest Armor

7 Mobility2 Resilience19 Recovery7 Discipline17 Intellect6 StrengthTotal: 58

Simulator Helmet

13 Mobility2 Resilience16 Recovery13 Discipline15 Intellect2 StrengthTotal: 61

Simulator Leg Armor

16 Mobility8 Resilience6 Recovery9 Discipline2 Intellect22 StrengthTotal: 63

Simulator Bond

Warlocks appear to be taking an L this week with some pretty rubbish rolls — the best of which is a high mobility middling leg armor. Sorry, floaty friends.

Titan Legendary Armor

For Titans, Xûr is selling the Simulator set which includes:

Simulator Gauntlets

6 Mobility19 Resilience6 Recovery8 Discipline8 Intellect20 StrengthTotal: 61

Simulator Helmet

2 Mobility19 Resilience9 Recovery2 Discipline22 Intellect8 StrengthTotal: 62

Simulator Leg Armor

6 Mobility12 Resilience10 Recovery6 Discipline15 Intellect9 StrengthTotal: 58

Simulator Mark

Titans did even worse than Warlocks with absolutely zero rolls worth considering. Yikes!

Hunter Legendary Armor

For Hunters, Xûr is selling the Simulator set which includes:

Simulator Gauntlets

6 Mobility12 Resilience10 Recovery6 Discipline15 Intellect9 StrengthTotal: 58

Simulator Leg Armor

Simulator Cloak

And with Hunters, Xur’s offerings this week officially leave me feeling sad, with rolls as low as what Titans got and no reason for us to shop! Bad, Xur! Bad!

That’s a wrap on Xûr for this week, Guardians! How do you feel about having to kill 50 Champions (or not) this week? Let us know in the comments!
