The recent success of the Deadpool & Wolverine movie put Marvel back in the limelight, including its long-forgotten brand deals like Activision’s Deadpool video game. Despite being delisted, the game is seeing a huge price surge as fans cash in on the Deadpool craze.
First reported by Tech4Gamers, the 2013 Deadpool game—which never received the warm reception it hoped for—has been rapidly increasing in price on third-party websites like eBay amid the enormous success of the third Deadpool movie. It has been delisted for years now because Activision no longer holds the licenses to Marvel’s properties. According to Price Charting, the game went from around $20 to $30 to upward of $150 for the PlayStation 4 version, and around $77 for its Xbox One release.
